A brief note about the emom’s
We do a lot of every minute on the minute lifting. It works very well, increases strength and technical prowess with our more complex movements as well as increasing familiarity. A particular favourite is “1,2,3” which is a press, 2 push press and 3 push jerk. It does it’s job well and strength improves, it also holds the interest much more than the slow lifts, we’ve also found that for an emom, 6 appears to be the magic number, as demonstrated above.
