CrossFit Hove workout of the day 30 May ’12

Ten of each movement, followed by nine, then eight etc of
Shoulder to overhead.

The push jerk would be the most efficient way to move the barbell from the shoulder to overhead. However we still frequently see use of the push press. This is probably due to the simplicity of the movement in comparison to the push jerk, I’m not criticising the movement nor our clients, just observing how under intensity the body will use a less technical mechanics especially in relatively high repetition workouts.
