For those who may not be familiar with this rep set up it is brilliantly simple, 21 of the deadlift 21 of the box jump, 15 and 15 and 9 and 9. This workout was originally seen in the 2011 CrossFit games regional qualifiers, the prescribed weight for the competitors then was 315/205 pounds for men and women (that’s 142 kg or 92kg!)

Saturday morning (as well as Friday’s open gym) saw our guys attempt the first CrossFit games regionals qualifier, most attempted the workout scaled whether they had registered or not.
The qualifying workouts were 2 part, the first an “amrap” as many rounds as possible for 9 minutes of
15 toes to bar
10 deadlifts
5 snatches

The scaled version of this was knees to chest with a lighter barbell weight at 38kg for males and 25kg for females, the unscaled was 52 and 32 kg with a toes to bar being the unscaled movement.
After the 9 minute amrap, a further 6 minutes was allocated to find the 1 rep max of clean and jerk.
